Test Retakes!

Dear Students,

So after much discussion, voting, and checking with our department policies, this is how test retakes will work. First, you must correct all errors on a separate sheet of paper or in your toolkit. This will show me that you have practiced the struggling areas and that you are ready for a second chance. Second, you may retake a test and completely replace the first score, with a maximum of an 85%. Retakes are designed to help a student who had a bad day and wants to prove they are more capable. However, an "A" student is someone who succeeds beyond the average, and to earn an A, you need to perform the first time. Also keep in mind that it is still very early in the year and there will be several quizzes to perform better on if you feel like this is not your best work.

If you would like to retake the test, please see me during your own time (Before school I am here by 7:15am, or during lunch). You must take the retake within two weeks of having it returned. The test is the same material with different numbers. Please come prepared. This will be our retake policy throughout the year.

Sincerely,

Mr. Freeburg
